Cache Exploration Granted Six Prospecting Permits In Nunavut PDF Print E-mail

Toronto, Ontario (February 3, 2011) – Mr. George A. Brown, President of Cache Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: CAY) is pleased to announce that Cache has obtained six Prospecting Permits covering approximately 208,784 acres of prospective REE exploration ground in Nunavut.

The permit applications were filed in December 2010 by a director of Cache on behalf of Cache. The grants were recently published in February 2011. The Company intends to file the required documents to receive a Nunavut Corporate Prospecting License and then transfer the six permits to Cache.

The Prospecting Permits are issued for a three year period and they require a minimum exploration expenditure of $0.10 per acre in year one, $0.20 in year two, and $0.40 in year three to maintain each Permit. At any time during the three year period, as long as the permits are maintained in good standing, Cache has the exclusive rights to stake mineral claims within the areas of the Prospecting Permits. A deposit equal to the year one required spending of $0.10 per acre was filed with the applications and is refundable against proof of the minimum work requirements being submitted, and the report and expenditures being accepted by the Nunavut Mining Recorder.

The areas applied for were recommended by the Board of Directors Technical Review Committee (Dr. David Lentz, P.Geo., and Dr. Reg Olson, P. Geol.) based upon potential Rare Earth Element exploration targets after a review of available data.

The Company will formulate an exploration plan for a summer of 2011 exploration program which will be communicated in due course.

Cache Exploration is a well funded company with a focus on exploring for REE deposits. Cache is exploring the Welsford REE Properties in New Brunswick, the Cross Hills REE and the Cross Hills Northern IOCG Properties in Newfoundland (adjacent to the Rockbridge Resources REE Property and the Ucore Rare Metals property), and the Louil Hills REE Property in Newfoundland (adjacent to the KAT Exploration Inc. REE project). All Cache REE properties in New Brunswick and Newfoundland have proximity to available infrastructure and are considered to have excellent potential for rare earth mineralization.
